23rd June 2026 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: SE Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: smooth Air Temperature: 25 Sea Temperature: Weather: Rain early then sunny and hot Max Speed: Distance Covered: Tuesday 23rd June - walks *** – Felixstowe prom – rain early, then sunny and hot! We had some heavy rain with thunder and lightning in the night so I joined Mag on her early morning walk along Felixstowe prom to take some puddle pics to send to the TV weather. So we walked from the pier to just past the rose garden and back through the Spa gardens. The sky was dark and it even thundered briefly and home to sort out my pics. Then the sky cleared and the temperate began to raise, I did manage to do my exercises in the back garden. We had out lovely neighbours around for a cuppa and cake, I had just enough time to have a quick walk down to the prom to take a few sunny pics and boy it was way too hot for me! We had a lovely time in the afternoon chatting in our cool back room looking at the back garden. Photo Album here |
